Thoughts on Life and Other Stuff
WHEN YOU ARE STUCK
Most of the time when we have trouble letting go of something what we are struggling with is the fact that we have put our own soul energy into a place/situation/a person. We have INVESTED ourselves in it. And thus when we are forced to walk away it feels like we are leaving a bit of ourself behind. And the truth is WE ARE! So what we need to do in that instance is pull ourselves back to ourselves. It takes time and you have to practice it. You mentally separate yourself first from the issue/place/person. You know that the connection is over and its ok. It was a part of your learning but you know logically you have to move forward to grow. Whatever happened is a karma that is now over. Mentally you accept it. Logically you accept it. THEN energetically you say to yourself "All parts of myself back to myself. From the past, from all places and times." And you really feel it in your bones. Have you ever had to stretch to get something physically just out of reach? And you strain until you finally touch it? That's what you do. You stretch and pull all parts of your energetic parts back to yourself. And you do this every day for awhile until you feel better. You will know when it's done and you got it right because it won't hurt as much and You'll feel more grounded and ok.
GROUNDING YOURSELF
Grounding yourself is EVERYTHING. I’ve literally had to say that to people several times recently. But what does it even mean when someone tells you to ground yourself? Let’s talk for a minute about electricity. Electricity is this powerful energy that powers your appliances, your home, and makes civilized life possible. It is difficult to have buttered toast without electricity. But electricity needs to flow. It needs to go places and do stuff. You only need a certain amount for this appliance or that one. Too much will burn them out. Not enough and they won’t work. Electricity is also a wild energy. If it isn’t properly tethered to something the flow is erratic. And so it has to be tethered to the earth in some way. When there is stray wild electricity the excess is sent into the earth. Grounding electrical lines makes they safe, it makes them useful.
You are no different. I’m sure you have, at one time or another, felt overly energized. Maybe as a little child that had too much energy and needed to play and expend it so you felt ok. And if you didn’t get to play you felt agitated and uneven. We as human beings have a connection to the earth. It’s not just an idea. It’s a way of describing the necessary relationship we have to her energetically. The energy we have running through our bodies cannot be stable without grounding. When you are grounded your thoughts flow more smoothly. Your body feels stable and unagitated and your emotions are more even. There are a thousand ways to ground yourself. The most simple way if the weather and your situation allows it is just to sit for awhile on the actual ground. Next time you feel upset or nervous and your energy is all over the place, sit on the ground for twenty minutes and see what that does for you.
GETTING WHAT YOU WANT
Sometimes the things we think we want, won’t actually make us happy. Sometimes we don’t know that until we get those things and hopefully there isn’t too much of a mess when it doesn’t work out- hopefully we can recover.
There was this rock group back in the nineties that wrote a song and it was a pretty good song, and they sent a demo of it to a record company. That company instantly knew they had a hit and wanted to sign them. Now the only trouble was technically they didn’t know how to play their instruments well, and they hadn’t written any other songs. But the record company was patient and gave them some time so that they could produce some more stuff. Can you imagine the stress it produced? They were at the point where they could get what every rock group wanted but they were completely unprepared.
Sometimes the things we want are awesome because they lead us somewhere great. And sometimes they aren’t. Do you really need another purse? Do you really need to go on a trip or buy cake? I think the most important thing we can do in every situation is pay attention to our own thoughts. Why has this need arisen? Am I acting from intuition? Instinct? Emotional need? You feel and think every thing you do for a reason. There is nothing wrong with that. And if it hurts no one, especially you, there is nothing wrong with acquiring something so you can figure out the why of it.
But the next step is to see the pattern. And if the pattern isn’t good, then you don’t judge yourself or punish yourself, you just learn from it. Whatever way you have to come to greater knowledge of yourself is valid. Try not to hurt other people of course. But don’t listen to other people judging you about actions that have little to do with them. Is your friend complaining because you don’t need a new pair of shoes yet you are buying them? How rude. I would say however, to think about why you are buying a new pair of shoes. Because if you think about it do you notice that you instinctively buy new shoes before the ones that make your feet feel great are about to give out? Do you buy new shoes at the beginning of a long period of depression? Did your brain notice the shift and instinctively try to hit it with dopamine buys? The point is, when you obsess on something, when you want something, don’t judge yourself, just think about the why of it. Because the why is where all the good stuff is. It’s where you get all the knowledge that helps you grow as a person.
As for the rock group, they aren’t around now. But I think they made enough to buy themselves all houses. And that’s something.
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE
need to preface what I’m about to say by talking about the three blind men and the elephant. Someone asked the three blind men what an elephant was. The first blind man touched the elephant’s long trunk and said an elephant is long and strong and very much like a hose. The second blind man touched the elephant’s ears and said an elephant is like a large floppy wrinkled saucer. The third blind man felt the tail and said an elephant is like a tall tiny long round string. Very much like a snake.
Everyone describes things from their own observation and experience. It may not be everything though. And they are trying their best to be accurate.
What I’m about to describe to you are my own observations and experiences and are by no means a comprehensive view of the universe and reality.
You are never alone. It is merely our perceptional filter that allows you to focus on some things and not other things. I have never met a person who was walking along completely on their own. I hypothesize that the human experience is so short that we always have an entourage with us trying to get us through our day to day life. You have guides that are with you all the time. They feel what you feel and see what you see and do their best to interact with you. You have teachers that come and go over time according to the learning that is needed and the time of life that you are in.
Additionally there are more universes than you can see and they sit on top of each other existing in the same space and being differentiated by energy signatures. Other yous are with you all the time.
You are never alone. Ever. Our feelings, our grief, can make us feel terrible and isolated. When you are drowning in bad feelings it can make you blind to everything that is around you. But just know that you are not alone. Not ever.
Wait until I tell you about time! Then you’ll really know you aren’t alone.
THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT NOBODYS HOME
A human being is not just flesh and bone. We have a spirit- your soul. The body is not the soul and the soul is not the body but they are linked. The brain records what happens to us in waking life and when you are sleeping it goes through a cleansing cycle, both physically and mentally, hence the reason for dreaming. It releases stress and that keeps you sane.
The soul is not always in the body. It can go other places. When it does, the brain has no memories of it since it only records what happens while you are in your body. A portion of the "soul body" records everything that happens wherever it goes. Your physical brain doesn't necessary communicate with your soul unless you have evolved or learned to do so.
Because your soul exists in various vibratory and energetic states, it can see things in states that your eyes and brain cannot. Some people refer to this in a very basic way as seeing through your third eye. Because of sleep apnea and other conditions, sometimes your brain waking and being able to move your body becomes dysfunctional. And in that state we accidentally see through our third eye. It can feel frustrating and we feel trapped until our brain is able to make the switch.
HAPPINESS
Your happiness and joy don’t depend on your situation, whether you have enough money or time or live in the right place. It doesn’t depend on the relationships you have with your parents, your children, your romantic partner, or your bosses. Good relationships are important of course. Having enough to sustain yourself and your loved ones is important too. But the truth is, in any situation your thinking is what brings you happiness. One person’s heaven may be another person’s hell mentally. If you realize in any given moment your perspective on the situation is what will bring you peace and joy then you are half way there. It is through training your mind that you gain mastery over your life. Training your mind creates possibilities in your life that expand you as a human being. Expanding yourself as a human being is the number one ultimate reason you are here.
